Grâce à son climat agréable le long de l’année, l’île Maurice est une destination idéale pour la pêche au gros, qui est une pêche récréative procurant des sensations fortes et des montées d’adrénaline garanties.
La pêche au gros se pratique toute l’année. Selon les saisons, différents poissons sont disponibles, tels que le marlin bleu, noir ou rayé, l’espadon ou le thon jaune.
De novembre à mai, de très gros poissons comme le fameux Blue Marlin ou encore l’impressionnant requin mako sillonnent les eaux mauriciennes pour le plus grand plaisir des pêcheurs émérites et amateurs.
Le départ est matinal, idéalement avant le lever du soleil entre 4h et 5h du matin, et reste flexible selon la demande des clients et l’activité des poissons.
La plupart des excursions de Pêche au Gros sont généralement privatives, ainsi vous bénéficierez de toute l’attention du personnel qualifié et des meilleures conditions pour une excursion optimale dans des spots de pêche.

The customer service before departure was excellent, the organisation from start to finish was excellent, the accommodation was better than expected, the group leader was excellent, the itinerary was excellent. As a solo female traveller I felt completely comfortable with the rest of the group whether they were traveling alone, with friends or with partners. The mix of activities, geographical locations, sights, sounds, terrain and communities left you feeling like you had experienced and encountered Vietnam, its history, its people and its landscape.

Amazing country, beautifully seen from the seat of a bicycle. So many unusual sights - friendly people (attractive, relaxed, smiling, shouting hello); fields of rice, coffee, rubber, eucalyptus, dragon fruit, etc., farmers herding brown cows and water buffalo; basic living conditions, cooking, eating and washing-up in the open, spilling out onto pavement; scooters everywhere and crazy driving but it seems to work, no road rage; great respect for older people and ancestors (colourful cemeteries and every house has small ancestral shrine). Came back with a real feel for the country, wanting to learn more.

Fantastic Trip

I am a little late in posting a review. We returned from this trip in early March, right when everything started to close down due to Covid-19. I can tell you that the memories of this trip have kept me going while sheltering in place. If you are thinking this might be the trip for you, please know that it is very fast paced with moving from place to place almost every night was quite challenging. The cycling itself was challenging based on ones fitness level. My husband completed every kilometer, while I did about three-quarters of the cycling. A lot of it depends on the heat, but for a female in my early 50s, I found it very doable. We had the most fabulous guide and crew. I cannot say enough of about our guide Son - he was absolutely amazing - taking care of all the details while we enjoyed ourselves. There are plenty of water/snack stops with fresh fruit and amazing snacks (ginger/nuts/cookies). They take very good care of you.
